Associations

There are a number of associations in Chellaston including the Chellaston Residents Association (CRA) and the Chellaston Community Association (CCA). These two long-standing groups have clear and separate objectives, as can be seen below.

Chellaston Residents Association (CRA)

Chellaston Residents' Association is a non-profit organisation dedicated to ensuring that the interests of residents are represented at all levels. We are in daily contact with local authorities, MPs, police and decision makers.

Chellaston Community Association (CCA)

Chellaston Community Association came into being when the Community Centre was built. It exists for the purpose of running the Centre and seeing that it is accessible to the community. Chellaston Community Centre is very well used by the community by a number of groups including Rainbows, Brownies, several martial arts groups, dancing classes, over fifties group, baby clinic and Playdays pre-school. It is also available for bookings for parties and events etc.
